4 hours of cooking and 15 minutes of eating makes you realize how much time this useless holiday takes
From center:
Tofurky with roasted carrots and potatoes, "sausage" n mushroom stuffing, corn on the cob, mashed cawliflower, portabello mushroom gravy notice the smily face inbetween the corn and stuffing

two days of pizza

So we drove downtown monday to pick up a vegan pizza to-go from karyn's cooked. I usually have mondays off and nick gets home around 3--by the time we place an order and drive there the food is ready to roll-

Tuesday I was still craving pizza so I made this with a spouted grain tortilla for the crust--i cooked tempeh sausage style and also topped it with red, orange, & green peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, red onion, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, and fresh basil---the sauce is a mix of roasted garlic hummus & a lil tomatoe sauce--nooch cheese sauce on top --please click for a better view-healthier and less expensive

my favorite snack

I'am a grump if I don't have this snack a few times a week-- air popped popcorn with nutritional yeast, seal salt, garlic powder, vegan "butter" spray
Hot Sauce is also required

cauliflower broccoli soup

i like my soups super thick so it was pointed out to me that this is more like a stew--either way delicious on a cold crappy winter chicago night

falafel bites for the bears game

These were made before the game and cooked at half time-side of hummus of course.

I'm already planning my bears superbowl game snacks and buying riot a bears jersey for the game. her she is watching the game
